A student informational session will be held on Thursday, January 19th at 11:45am in the Gallery.
All North students are welcome to register for the 3-part Global Issues Speaker Series held in the upcoming months. Each session will be held in the Gallery from 11:30am to 12:30pm. To register, send your name, grade, email address, and cell number (if you have one) to burnaby.events@gmail.com. Once registered, you will receive more information and a reminder.
Speakers include:
- Mr. Firas Kayal, from UN Refugee Agency (Monday, Feb 6th);
- Ms. Julie Marshall from World Food Programme (Thursday,March 2nd); and
- Mr. George Somerwill from UN Dept of Peacekeeping (Thursday, April 11th)
