With the latest arrival of the snow reminding us that it is still winter, we’d like to remind you of our winter weather closure procedures. These include when a decision will be made and what and how it will be conveyed. Please CLICK HERE to see these procedures as outlined on our District website.
Remember that any closure information will be communicated through our media outlets: the district website (www.sd41.bc.ca), the district Twitter account (@burnabyschools), and major RADIO stations (see list here). Please do not phone the district or school offices or the radio stations.
As always, should you wish to keep your child /children home due to weather conditions, you may absolutely do so – just let your school know of this decision. Our dedicated facilities team has been working around the clock and on the weekends clearing snow from our sites.
