ELECTIONS BC–VOTING TODAY

Today is the 2017 BC General Election General Voting Day.

Elections BC is running a polling station in the South Gym from 8am-8pm.  We ask all staff and parents to keep the South Parking Lot next to the gym clear for voter access.

If you are voting at our site, the entrance to voter parking is directly off of Kensington Avenue, half a block North of Curtis Street (next to the fenced in field).  Please be aware of students near the parking lot when entering/exiting the lot.  Parking is also available on the east side of Kensington Avenue (opposite the school; no parking in front of the school).

“To vote in the 2017 Provincial General Election, you must be a Canadian citizen, 18 or older on General Voting Day, and a resident of B.C. for the past six months.”

If you are not a registered voter, you CAN register today at polling stations.  Bring TWO pieces of picture ID that include your current residential address OR two documents, both with your name and at least one with your current home address.to one of the polling stations in your electoral district. You can find your polling stations using the Elections BC Where to Vote tool.
